The Saudi Red Sea Authority has presented Red Sea Global with operating licences for AMAALA Marina and Shura Marina, marking a regulatory milestone for its coastal tourism destinations.

The licences were issued under the tourist-marina design and operation regulation, which includes health, safety and environmental requirements, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

A connected yachting network

AMAALA Marina has 119 berths and Shura Marina has 159, providing 278 berths together. The facilities can accommodate yachts up to 120 metres long.

Red Sea Global’s Yachting Network brings its marinas and yacht clubs under unified management to connect berthing and marine services across destinations.

The announcement concerns operating licences and service readiness; it does not announce that every destination asset is open.
