SALIC is transferring the National Grain Company to its subsidiary SABIL after acquiring the remaining 50 percent stake, according to SPA coverage reported by Arab News.
The move brings international grain sourcing closer to domestic storage, distribution and strategic-reserve capabilities. National Grain Company will remain an independent legal entity wholly owned by SABIL.
The integration aims to strengthen Saudi grain and feed supply continuity. The announcement was reported on 12 October 2026.
