THE STORY

Bangladesh has proposed broader Saudi energy cooperation, including long-term LNG arrangements and dedicated terminal facilities, during talks held alongside the International Energy Forum in Saudi Arabia.

State Minister Aninda Islam Amit discussed delegation exchanges and renewable investment opportunities with Saudi energy officials, according to a ministry statement reported by UNB.

The discussions signal areas for potential cooperation. The report does not establish that a binding LNG supply contract or terminal investment has been concluded.
