Pakistan’s Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik called for investment in affordable and sustainable energy at the 17th International Energy Forum Ministerial Meeting in Riyadh.
Speaking on Monday, he urged investment across renewables, hydrocarbons, critical minerals, grids and pipelines. He said supply disruptions also affect shipping and insurance, making diversified energy routes important.
Malik thanked Saudi Arabia for its energy cooperation with Pakistan. His remarks outlined policy priorities rather than a newly signed bilateral investment package.
