Saudi small and medium-sized enterprises recorded their fastest new-order growth in seven months in September, according to the Riyad Bank SME PMI compiled by S&P Global.
The headline index stood at 53.8, slightly below August’s 53.9 but above the 50 threshold indicating expansion. The third-quarter average improved to 52.7 from 51.4 in the second quarter.
The survey also indicated stronger job creation, while cost pressures remained a challenge. The findings were reported on 12 October and describe September business conditions.
