PIF and US EXIM establish export credit cooperation framework

Original announcement: 24 July 2026.
PIF and the Export Import Bank of the United States announced a memorandum of understanding on 24 July 2026. The framework provides for exploring up to $15 billion in long-term financing for eligible PIF portfolio companies procuring US goods and services.
What the announcement covers
Areas identified for cooperation include advanced technology, aerospace, infrastructure, future mobility, water security and minerals used in advanced manufacturing. The announcement places the agreement within PIF’s wider use of export credit partnerships and diversified funding sources.
For companies following supply chains and cross-border industrial partnerships, the agreement signals areas of potential collaboration. It is a financing framework with eligibility conditions, rather than confirmation that $15 billion has already been disbursed or that every proposed procurement will receive funding.
