Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Competition invited public comments on Uber’s proposed acquisition of Delivery Hero, Argaam reported on 6 October.

The review is relevant to the Saudi market because Delivery Hero owns HungerStation. The reported offer was made in July, with completion expected in the second half of 2027 subject to regulatory approvals.

The consultation runs until 20 October according to the report. A request for comments forms part of the review process and is not approval of the transaction or confirmation that the acquisition has closed.
