Electronic Arts announced that its acquisition by PIF, Silver Lake and Affinity Partners had closed, according to a statement published by PIF on 4 August.
PIF described entertainment and sports as strategic areas and highlighted EA’s established gaming franchises and intellectual property. The consortium intends to support the company’s management and long-term development.
