The Helicopter Company signed a letter of intent with Bombardier as it plans to expand from helicopter operations into business aviation, PIF announced on 27 July.
The proposed initial fleet comprises twelve aircraft: five Challenger 3500s, five Global 5500s and two Global 8000s. Purchase options could add a further 48 jets.
The agreement was signed at the Farnborough International Airshow. It is a letter of intent toward an order, not evidence that all sixty aircraft have been purchased or delivered. The release does not state a transaction value.
