The Riyadh Economic Forum has announced that its 12th session will examine how Saudi Arabia can maximise the economic and social returns from Expo 2030 and the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
The session is scheduled for October 12–14. The planned study covers investment, infrastructure, transport, logistics, digital development and job creation, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Planning beyond the events
The study’s stated focus extends beyond the events themselves to a lasting legacy built on innovation, skills, partnerships and effective project governance.
These are study objectives, rather than quantified outcomes or confirmed vacancies. The announcement indicates the themes to be discussed at the forthcoming forum.
